Day 106, august 8th
Start: Snoquolamie pass, mile 2402
End: camp overlooking lake, mile 2419
Miles hiked: 17 (the most beautiful 17 in a long, long time)

The 17 miles out of Snoquolamie Pass might be my favorite 17 mile stretch on the trail thus far. I cannot think of words to describe how awesome it was. Basically, we hiked out, I met Scott Williamson on the trail (if you’re not familiar, research his name with ‘pct’ after. He’s a big deal out here), hiked with Guthrie, carrot, and crispies, saw amazing mountains with great color at night, then got an amazing campsite overlooking said mountains. A truly fantastic day! And 6,700 feet up in just 17 miles. Tough!

I’m going to upload all of my pictures for your viewing pleasure. I couldn’t stop taking pictures all day!
